North Sea Screen Partners member Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee graduate Matt Cameron's short film 'Falling Out' has been nominated for Screentest - The National Student Film Festival 2012. Screentest was founded at Bristol University in 2004 and has become an important platform for celebrating of the very best in student filmmaking from around the United Kingdom.
Matt is responsible for both the directing, editing and visual effects of 'Falling Out', and utilised the Visual Effects Research Lab at DJCAD at University of Dundee, part of the North Sea Screen Partners project. 'Falling Out' has been nominated in Screentest's Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy category. Produced by Dundee based Flyboy Films, the film follows three people as they try to physically, and emotionally, survive the aftermath of a nuclear explosion. Matt was nominated for the 2011 BAFTA in Scotland New Talent Awards and recently grduated from Duncan of Jordanstone's Msc Animation and Visualisation.
