The Joint Annual Conference 2013 will take place 11-13 June in Tylösand, Sweden.
About the Conference
The event will be arranged jointly with the North Sea Commission and hosted by Halmstad Municipality and Halland Region.
It will feature an integrated concept between the North Sea Region Programme and the North Sea Commission, to encourage interaction between the stakeholders of the different organisations.
The conference will feature interactive workshop sessions and plenary sessions with a strong focus on discussion and debate. The plenary sessions will be held in the form of facilitated discussions between invited guests on stage and the plenary audience, with room to post questions to the stage, live or online.
A number of study tours will take place in the morning of day two, featuring innovative projects with relevance for the event theme and Halland Region.
A Better Place to Live
The theme of the 2013 conference will be 'A Better Place to Live', and have an outlook towards the future potential Programme and subsequent projects and relevant issues to discuss in relation to this.
Venue
The venue for the event will be Hotel Tylösand, situated a few kilometers outside of Halmstad, in Sweden.
Dates
The Joint Annual Conference will be a two day event, from Tuesday 11 June until afternoon 12 June. Adjacent meetings and information sessions will take place in the morning of the Tuesday, tbc.
The North Sea Commission will arrange their General Assembly and Executive Committee on Wednesday 13 June.

Registration
Registration is expected to open around Easter 2013 through the Programme website.
